MEET YOUR FASHIONISTAS!

LIANNE LAING

CTV Morning Live Host

Born and raised in Ottawa, Lianne has been a member of the team since 1998 covering the sports beat from amateur athletes to the Ottawa Senators.
You name it, she’s done it! This Ottawa native has been profiling people, places and events in our community since joining the TV station in 1998. After ten years as a sports anchor, Lianne made the transition to the morning show in 2008. She also created a health & fitness segment called “Today’s The Day” that aims to help people make healthier life choices one small step at a time.

As a former Canadian elite gymnast, Lianne knows a few things about fitness. She was a provincial champion by age nine, and left the nation's capital in the early 1990s to attend the University of Massachusetts on a full NCAA gymnastics scholarship.

STEFAN KEYES

CTV Morning Live Host

Stefan Keyes isn’t just your average journalist who sits behind a news desk and reports the daily news. No, no. Aside from stellar reporting with a stylish flair, Keyes works diligently to give back to the community volunteering for several not-for-profit groups with a focus on minority issues, youth, and the arts.

His talents also led him to become a vocalist and actor, who has performed for diverse crowds in Canada, the United States and Jamaica. Keyes has also been a back-up singer for Grammy award-winning gospel artist, Tramaine Hawkins. And sometimes you can still spot him in a movie-of-the-week or a Canadian-produced TV series.

Jeff Hopper

CTV Morning Live Host

Born in Toronto, Jeff misspent most of his youth in the GTA before deciding that broadcasting was a cool career.

During his studies at Humber College, he landed his first radio job in Oshawa and has made stops in North Bay and Brockville and finally ended up at MAJIC 100 in Ottawa. Jeff has made the transition to TV and is having a blast on CTV Morning Live.

Sarah Freemark

CTV Morning Live Live Eye Host

Sarah first discovered her passion for broadcasting right in her hometown of Renfrew as the Host & Community Producer of “G.O. - The Great Outdoors”; a weekly program produced by Cogeco Cable in Renfrew.

It's no surprise Sarah's high-energy and positive attitude was quickly noticed by execs right after she completed her studies at Seneca College, and nabbed a role as Host, Reporter & Producer of “CEO-TV”, a nationally broadcast business series on Global & City TV.

Melissa Lamb

CTV Morning Live Weather Host

Melissa was born in the small town of Vankleek Hill about an hour east of Ottawa, but spent most of her youth growing up in Orleans.

Melissa got her first television job in 2006, working as a reporter for a local program covering the Ottawa Senators.  After covering the Stanley Cup Finals later that year she was hooked and went back to school to pursue a career in broadcast journalism. Melissa worked at CHEX Television in Peterborough for two years before returning home to Ottawa to work at CTV.

Henry Burris

Morning Live Ottawa CoHost

In short: Former CFL, Ottawa RedBlack, Calgary Stampeder, Hamilton Tiger Cat, Sask Roughrider, Temple Owls Are Everywhere. A little bit more: Henry Armand Burris, Jr. (born June 4, 1975) is an American retired professional quarterback, who mostly played Canadian football in the Canadian Football League from 1998 through 2016. He won three Grey Cup championships, two with the Calgary Stampeders, in 1998 and 2008, having spent 10 years of his career with the Stamps, and one with the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016. Burris won the CFL's Most Outstanding Player Award in 2010 and 2015. At the time of his retirement Burris was third in all-time CFL passing yards and passing touchdowns. While playing in the Canadian Football League, he was also a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats and spent time in the National Football League with the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers. Prior to his professional career, he played college football with the Temple Owls.
